Most
Rev. Raymond L. Burke has served on CUF’s episopal advisory
council since 1999. He has written a number of articles for Lay
Witness magazine and was a contributing author to Servants
of the Gospel: Essays by American Bishops on Their Role as Shepherds
of the Church. In addition, Archbishop Burke is serving as
the honorary chairman of CUF’s capital campaign “Lay
Witnesses for Christ: Faithful to the Mission . . . Focused
on the Future” for CUF’s new headquarters.
Most
Rev. Charles J. Chaput has served on CUF’s episcopal advisory
council since 1997. He contributed to Emmaus Road’s Servants
of the Gospel: Essays by American Bishops on Their Role as Shepherds
of the Church and has written for Lay Witness magazine.
He has written forewords and endorsements for several Emmaus Road
books.
Most
Rev. Thomas J. Olmsted has been a supporter of CUF for many
years. In 2004, he graciously accepted an invitation to join CUF’s
episcopal advisory council. He has appeared in Lay Witness numerous
times.
Most
Rev. Robert F. Vasa has contributed articles to Lay Witness
magazine and Faith Basics and has also contributed to CUF’s
Sunday homily service.
Father
Thomas Acklin, O.S.B., is a member of CUF's advisory council
and author of The Unchanging Heart of the Priesthood (Emmaus
Road Publishing, 2006). He is a regular contributor to CUF's Sunday
homily service.
Gail
Buckley is the founder and executive director of Catholic Scripture
Study International (CSS), the world’s fastest-growing Catholic
Bible study program. Buckley serves on CUF’s Board of Directors
and is also chairman of the Our Lady of Victory CUF chapter in Charlotte,
North Carolina. Buckley’s innovative leadership of one of
CUF’s most dynamic chapters was the subject of a November/December
2002 profile in CUF's Lay Witness magazine.
Colleen
Carroll Campbell is an author, former White House speechwriter,
and fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, a research organization
in Washington, D.C. She is a regular columnist for CUF’s Lay
Witness magazine.
Regis
J. Flaherty is the director of the Gilmary Retreat Center in
Western Pennsylvania. He has over 30 years of experience in working
with Catholic organizations, most recently as the editor-in-chief
of Emmaus Road Publishing. He is secretary of the St. Francis de
Sales CUF chapter in Pittsburgh.
Dr.
Scott Hahn became a member of CUF shortly after becoming a Catholic
in 1986. He served on CUF’s board of directors from 1995–2006
and was chairman of the board from 2002–06. Since 2006, Hahn
has served as a member of CUF’s advisory council. He has written
many articles for Lay Witness magazine. He has also written,
co-edited, or contributed to several books through Emmaus Road Publishing,
including Catholic for a Reason I, II, III,
and IV; Scripture Matters, and Understanding
Our Father.
Curtis
Martin is a member of CUF’s advisory council. He served
as president of CUF from 1995–98. During his tenure, CUF launched
the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS), a national
evangelization outreach to college campuses. Martin now serves as
president of FOCUS.
Mike
Sullivan is president of Catholics United for the Faith and
publisher of Lay Witness. He contributed to the most recent
volume of the best-selling Catholic for a Reason series:
The Mystery of Marriage and Family Life.
