Gail Buckley is the founder and executive director of Catholic Scripture Study International (CSS), the world’s fastest-growing Catholic Bible study program. CSS has thousands of members throughout the United States and in 40 countries around the world. Buckley serves on CUF’s Board of Directors and is also chairman of the Our Lady of Victory CUF chapter in Charlotte, North Carolina. Buckley’s innovative leadership of one of CUF’s most dynamic chapters was the subject of a November/December 2002 profile in Lay Witness magazine.

A convert to Catholicism from Methodism, Buckley was received into the Church in 1994. She feels that the Lord made it clear to her, through a series of amazing events, that she was to become Catholic. A year later her husband, Tom, entered the Catholic Church as well.

A co-founder of Catholic Exchange.com as well as a contributing columnist, Gail has written many of Catholic Exchange’s “Saint of the Day” articles and produced the former feature series, “Little Church Family.”

Buckley has been a speaker at several national Catholic conferences and a featured guest on many Catholic radio shows including Catholic Answers Live; Ave Maria radio: Catholic Connection with Teresa Tomeo, Al Kresta; Sacred Heart Radio; and CE Today with John Morales.
